Bachelor of Science + Bachelor of Legislative Law or BSc LLB is an undergraduate integral course of a total duration of 5 years and a maximum of 8 years, divided into ten semesters (each year two semesters). 

BSc. LLB 

This course provides an understanding of the principle of science and law. Law typically combines another course of studies such as economics, business, criminology or management. Law plays a vital role in the functioning of a country and preserves human rights and obligations.

Students save a year by undertaking the integrated BSc LLB course as a study option. As a result, the students can invest the time saved for pursuing some other degree.

Eligibility

Students who are aspiring to pursue BSc. LLB must meet the following eligibility criteria.

  • The eligibility criteria for BSc LLB are passing 10+2 with a minimum of 45-50% aggregate marks (for general category) and 40% (for SC/ST/OBC).
  • For seeking admission in this course, the students have to score well on the entrance test and go through a personal interview.
  • Candidates whose results are awaited can also appear for the entrance exam on the condition that they give proof of qualifying examination with the prescribed marks at the time of interview. 

Career

BSc LLB students can do practice under a reputed lawyer and after having experience of two to three years, they can start their own practice. In the government sectors BSc LLB graduates can work in tax department, labour department, public prosecutor, defence, attorney and solicitor general. In the private sector, BSc LLB graduates are employed in various consultancy firms.
